Individual Therapy
Anxiety / Depression / Life Transitions / Burnout / Self-Care/ Work-Life Balance / Trauma / Creativity / Identity / Motivation / Self & Other / Negative Self-Talk As a psychologist with extensive training in mood and anxiety disorders, I understand how emotions like sadness, fear, and self-doubt—though part of the human experience—can at times become overwhelming and disruptive. When emotional distress begins to interfere with your daily life, relationships, or goals, it’s time for expert support. My approach is grounded in the latest research from psychology and neuroscience, ensuring you receive care that is both current and effective. I specialize in time-limited, evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Unified Protocol for emotional disorders. I also draw from third-wave CBT approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, which help clients build practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate complex interpersonal challenges. -
Couples, Families, Relationships

With over a decade of specialized experience, I bring advanced expertise in assessing and treating distressed interpersonal and intimate relationships. Grounded in a social constructionist framework, my work emphasizes the unique dynamics, values, and meanings within each relationship. I understand that relationships are complex, living systems shaped by history, communication patterns, and the evolving needs of all partners. My approach honors the unique story of each partnership, blending evidence-based methods with a nuanced understanding of emotional dynamics. I help relationships move beyond surface-level disagreements to uncover deeper meanings, fostering empathy, connection, and authentic communication. Through this process, partners learn not only to resolve conflict but to rediscover mutual respect and shared purpose—transforming their relationship into a source of growth and resilience.

Diversity and Diverse Relationships

With over a decade of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working with clients from a wide range of cultural, racial, gender, and relational backgrounds. This has deepened my commitment to practicing with cultural humility—an ongoing process of self-reflection, critical awareness, and openness to learning directly from my clients' lived experiences. My approach is informed by an intersectional lens and a strong understanding of minority stress and the ways in which systemic, cultural, and relational forces impact mental health. I bring together evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each client’s identities, values, and social contexts. Therapy with me is both collaborative and tailored—supporting you in addressing your unique challenges while honoring the complexity of who you are. -
Trauma-focused Therapy
Interpersonal / Safety / Trust / Hope / Impact / Minority Stress / Stigma / Shame / Numbness As a clinician with extensive experience in trauma-focused care, I specialize in helping individuals heal from the lasting psychological and physiological impacts of traumatic experiences. Trauma can stem from a wide range of events—including sexual assault, intimate partner violence, emotional abuse, childhood neglect, complex sexual trauma, and systemic or interpersonal violence. These experiences often disrupt one’s sense of safety, self-worth, and trust in others, and can profoundly affect daily functioning and physical health. My expertise includes years of focused work with survivors of gender-based violence and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, addressing the unique and intersectional ways trauma can manifest. Using evidence-based trauma therapies, I help clients reclaim confidence, intimacy, and a sense of internal safety. Together, we work to restore emotional balance, rebuild self-esteem, and create space for resilience, growth, and meaningful connection.
